Obituary of Abraham Thomas

Abraham C. Thomas (Litty) was born on March 11, 1946 to the late K. E. Thomas and Mariamma Thomas of Kongalathu Family, Ranny, India. He was the fourth of their nine children. Litty was a believing child of God, and attended the Mannarathara Brethen Assembly.

Litty was married to Gracy Thomas of Pannikandathil family, Thiruvalla. They have five children and were settled in Vechoochira and attended the Vechoochira Bethren Assembly. Litty migrated to the USA with his family in April, 1995. He fellowshipped with the believers of Philadelphia Gospel Hall Assembly.

He was a successful business man in Kerala, very energetic, and hard working. He was a wonderful husband, and an extraordinary father. he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and had a genuine concern for others. Litty was known for his keen sense of humor. His likes included hunting, cars, animals, travelling, telling jokes and food. He loved his life and lived each day to the fullest. He loved his children very much and was very possessive of each one of them. He was a great uncle to his nephews and nieces and enjoyed their company.

Litty was diagnosed with a very rare form of Cardiac Amyloidosis in August 2012. His health declined very quickly, but his spirit remained strong. He was determined to beat the disease at any cost but God had other plans for him. He went to be with the Lord peacefully on February 28th, 2013 at 11:50 PM.

He is survived by his loving wife Gracy and children, Jennie, Jerry, Jaimie, Jasmine and Sam and Jeffrey.
