Obituary

Albert H. Strunk, III of Newtown, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the age of 83 years.  He is survived by his daughter Karen Wentworth (Steve) grandson Steven Wentworth, II (Danielle) great grand children Steven III and Reilly James, grandson James Wentworth (Candace) great grand child Brittany, daughter Kathleen Carver (Ed) granddaughter Jennifer Causer (David) great grand children Gemma, Landon, and David, Jr., grandson Edward Carver, Jr. great grand children Jordan, Alayla and Brennan and granddaughter Lisa Ives (Ryan) great grand children Caleb and Raelynn.
He is predeceased by his parents Howard and Margaret Strunk, brother Robert Strunk, his first wife Joan Beverly Keller and his second wife Phyllis Strunk.
Albert a.k.a Bucky was a Foster Parent for the Dept. of Social Services in Philadelphia, PA with his former wife, Joan. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge #2011, Chula Vista, CA, and the Edgewood Lodge #2354 in Edgewood, MD where he was the Grand Exulted Ruler. He was former member of the Quaker City Yacht Club (Philadelphia, PA) where he served on various boards, Albert worked at Edgcomb Steel Company in Andalusia for many years before relocating to California where he owned a Charles Chips route.  Albert then relocated to Maryland where he started a house painting company.  He moved to Florida and held a part time position at Home Depot.  He moved back to Maryland and finally settled in Newtown, PA.   He was a member of the NRA and a member of the American Legion.  He loved to fish, play golf and hunt.  Albert was an avid learner his entire life.  He attended classes at Bucks County Community College, learned to play the guitar, took photography classes and other classes.  He was an accomplished wine maker, winning several awards.  Albert had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to eat, drink wine and beer.  Albert could mix an amazing Manhattan. He loved science fiction movies and books but his favorite author was Edgar Allan Poe.  He loved to do crossword puzzles in his spare time.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Viewing on Friday February 25, 2022, 12:00-1:00pm at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. Countyline Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 A Prayer Service will commence at 1:00pm. Interment to immediately follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA .
