Obituary

Albert Barton Tomlinson, age 98, of Middletown Township, husband of the late Anna (Martin) Tomlinson with whom he shared 54 years of marriage, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his home.

Born on January 5, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Christian Van Horn and May (Barton) Tomlinson.

He was a graduate of Langhorne - Middletown High School, class of 1940.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps during WWII and was part of the 47th Bombardment Group where he saw action in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy.

He was the former owner of Philadelphia Piping and Equipment company in the Logan section of Philadelphia for many years.

He was a lifelong resident of Middletown Township and enjoyed playing golf, travel, and was an avid Phillies, Eagles, and 76ers fan.

He is survived by his son, Albert L. husband of Joann Tomlinson, and his daughter, Christine M. Tomlinson, 3 grandchildren, Albert B. husband of Caroline Tomlinson, Lauren Ann Tomlinson, Catherine Alaina Tomlinson.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Rd., Huntingdon Valley. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Jesse W. Soby American Legion Post # 148, 115 W. Richardson Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047.
