Alberta Florence Stephenson (nee Pater ), age 88, of Philadelphia, passed away on February 6, 2018. She was born on September 13, 1929 in Philadephia,PA, and graduated from Roxborough High School. Alberta then went on to work at Van Sciver's and worked as a model at Rauls . She married Richard Stephenson on September 6, 1952 and had 3 children. Alberta raised the 3 children, taught in Sunday School and ran the Primary Department in Church. When the children were raised, she worked with her husband and started an estate auction business, and then later worked for her son, Glen, until she retired .Alberta was preceded in death by her husband Richard , and is survived by her children, Judy Stephenson ( Robert Hollahan ), Glen ( Dina ), Bruce ( Debbie ), her grandchildren, Lauren ( Ian ), Kurt, Meredith ( Jeffrey ), Brian, Joshua and Kevin, and her great grandchild, Stephen. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053, where Alberta's life will be celebrated at 10:30 am . Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
