Obituary of Alfred George
Alfred H. George "Bud" passed away suddenly on January 14, 2008 at Abington Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was 83. A lifelong resident of Churchville, Bud as a farmer from early childhood and was the owner of Georges Farm on Churchville Lane. An avid gardener, he also enjoyed hunting, reading and spending time with his family. The beloved husband of Marie, he is also survived by his children Alfred H. George, Jr. (Nancy) Susan Leomporra (Michael) and Alan J. George (Karen), 7 grandchildren Christine, Joseph, Christopher, Katie, Michael, Alicia and Gabriel, 4 great grandchildren Jessica, Ryan, Kiersten and Kaylee and a sister Sylvia Lee.
