Alice Joan Rominiecki, (Nee Houser) age 82, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2023 following a short battle with cancer. She was born February 17, 1941 in Dorrance Township, PA to Albert Aaron and Gertrude Dorothy (Hurish) Houser.  Alice was joined by younger brother Albert, spending their younger years in the Pennsylvania countryside.

Soon after moving to Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood Alice married Joseph Buchhalter in 1957. Alice and Joe raised their daughters in their Olney home together until Joe passed suddenly in 1987.

Alice later met Robert Rominiecki and they married in 1994. Alice and Bob enjoyed spending time with their families and time together either at the lake or at their Elkins Park home. Bob preceded her in death in 2017.

Alice was predeceased by daughter Karen Seifert (Richard) in 2017 and is survived by her daughters Kim Colbridge (Thomas), Monica McAndrews (Timothy) and Denise McAvoy (Brian), Step-sons Michael and Robert Rominiecki and grandchildren, Richard, Alexandra (Ryan), Ryan, Kevin (Lori) Kellyanne, Alison (Steve), Zachary, Cassandra, Corinne, Timothy, Sean (Christina), Dennis, Robin,; step-grandchildren Troy, Erik, Evan, and Megan along with 11 great-grandchildren. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
