Andrea Viola, age 78, of Forked River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 21st, 2025.

Born in Partinico, Sicily to Gaspre and Rosalia; from a young age, he worked hard to help support his family and set an example of responsibility and positivity for his younger brothers.

Andrea honorably served in the Italian Military when he was 18 years old. Shortly after, he met and married the love of his live, Rose Ferrara.  In 1969 he emigrated to America, where he began a new chapter with his bride. Andrea and Rose went on to have four beautiful children and recently celebrated 56 wonderful years of marriage, a testament to their enduring bond. Family was everything to Andrea. He cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren above all, except perhaps his loyal dog Daisy, who brought him much happiness and companionship. Andrea was a deeply loyal man and the driving force behind his family's move to New Jersey. Andrea is the reason his family moved to the United States. He created a foundation of strength, love, and unity.

He was a skilled Mason and worked alongside his brother Anthonio, at one point owning their own successful business, Viola Brothers. Andrea was a force of nature; he was hardworking, hilariously funny, charming, and charismatic. To know him was to love him; he was one of a kind.

In his younger years he loved to go hunting with his sons and his brothers.  He also loved to fish, garden, make sausage, and his famous vino.  Andrea was a generous man; he loved to share these joys with his family and friends and anyone who walked through his door was always welcomed and had a seat at his table.  He made all of the holidays and family gatherings memorable and special.

Andrea is forever the beloved husband to Rose (nee, Ferrara) and loving father to four one-of-a-kind children; Rosalie, Vincent (wife Lisa), Gasper and Maria (husband Ralph). Beloved Grandfather of Lucia, Vincent, Gianna, Adriana, Vanessa, Mossimo, Giovanni, Isabella and Mia. He is pre-deceased by his Granddaughter Marissa and brother Roberto. Devoted brother to Antonio (wife Elenora) and Salvatore

Andrea leaves behind a beautiful legacy in his grandchildren.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves a profound void in our hearts, but his memory and spirit will live on through all those who loved him. We will honor and remember Andrea for the rest of our days.

Andrea's Funeral Mass will be held Monday September 29th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel, located at 611 Knowles Ave, Southampton, PA 18966. If you wish to join us, please arrive a few minutes early, as mass will begin promptly at 10:30am.
