Anita Comer of Lehighton, PA , formerly of Southampton, PA , passed away on August 20, 2018 at age 88. Anita was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1929. She was the widow of Harry Comer, who had passed away in 2014. They had been married for 57 years.

Anita had previously been employed in the 1950's as a secretary for the school district of Philadelphia, working at the George Nebinger elementary school, and working summers at the public schools administration building. She thoroughly enjoyed her career, along with the friends she had made there.
She enjoyed visiting with family, taking trips to the Atlantic City shore, reading novels and doing connect-a-dots.
At her new home in Lehighton, Anita enjoyed the peaceful country views from the backyard porch, the sunny views throughout the house, warming herself in front of the fireplace on winter evenings, and admiring the Christmas tree.
Anita is survived by her two sons, William Comer, her primary caregiver, and Ethan Comer.
