Anna Pickford, affectionately known as "Anne", 86 of Bensalem, PA died on April 10. She was born in
Philadelphia, PA on June 11, 1932. Anne lived in Olney until she moved to Bensalem, PA in 1997.
She graduated from Olney High School.
Anne worked as Church Secretary at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the church that she grew up in, for
many years before retiring. She served on the Altar Guild at St. Paul's for many years. She was a
member of the Golden Agers Club where she served as Secretary. She LOVED watching the Phillies,
going out to lunch with all of her girlfriends, going to the casino, traveling and being with family.
Anne was the beloved mother of Diana Norcross (Craig), Richard Pickford Jr. (Kara Brauen) and
grandmother of Katie Brown (Eugene) and Becky Norcross and Shawn Brauen. A devoted mother and
grandmother, and a good friend. She was a very special person and loved by many. We are forever
changed by having her in our lives. She was "sassy" throughout her whole life and everyone loved her
for it.
Friends and family are invited to Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA on
Tuesday, April 16. Visitation begins at 10am. A celebration of her life will be held at 11am.
