Anne McInnes, a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, passed away October 12th after a brief illness. Anne was the daughter of the late Alexander and Marion McInnes and the loving sister of the late Hughina King and Marion Waibel.
Anne was the beloved aunt of Donna Baumer (Gregg), Patricia King (David), Kathleen Schaeffler (Paul), Charles King (Linda) and Marion Crowley. She was preceded in death by nephews William Waibel (Sandy) and Harry Waibel (Kathleen).
Anne worked as a secretary for Rohm and Haas for most of her working career and retired in 1977. After her retirement, she worked for a florist as a flower arranger, as a bartender for a country club and sold Princess House products. She often said she was a jack of all trades but a master of none.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 17th at 10 am at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA. A celebration of life will take place at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Philadelphia Protestant Home at pphfamily.org.
