Arlene J. Fogarty a resident of Glenolden PA and former resident of Philadelphia PA passed away on Friday afternoon with family by her side . Arlenes passing was completely unexpected and a shock to all that knew her . Arlene is survived by her 5 children (Walt & Ellen Fogarty , Kenny & Judy Fogarty , Debbie Hughes , Diane & Jim Lewicki and Joe Fogarty). Arlene was also a wonderful mom mom to 13 grandchildren and her 3 great grandchildren. She was also a companion of the late Angelo Sperduto of 28 years who passed July of 2022 . She was also the wife of the late Walter P. Fogarty Sr. who passed March of 1993 . Arlene will also be missed by many friends and all who knew her .

Arlene was a woman who enjoyed many things . She loved to cook and bake and was known for her chrusciki cookies . She loved going camping with her late husband Walter and family where many memories were made .

She also enjoyed spending time on the boat with her companion Angelo and loved taking in all the sun she could get . She also enjoyed spending time in Florida and visiting Disney World . She enjoyed traveling to islands where she could enjoy the beauty of the beaches and the sound of the waves crashing . She also enjoyed watching her shows and ordering from QVC . She could always make us laugh with her crazy nik naks and Christmas lights all year round . She did what made her happy and nobody was to tell her differently . She was a role model of truth to all who knew her .

With all the things that Arlene enjoyed in life the one thing that she absolutely loved the most was getting together with her family . She always looked forward to a family party where she could watch her kids talk and goof off and always leave her laughing . She also really enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Whether it was candy ,

toys or clothes she always had something for them every time she saw them . She was an incredible grandmother and definitely unforgettable . Arlene was always happy and always enjoyed having a great time . From parties to family dinners to vacations she always looked forward to it .

Not only was she an amazing woman and grandmother she was an outstanding mother . She loved her children , grandchildren and great grandchildren more than words can describe .

Arlene will be truly missed by so may people. Although she is now at peace she leaves family and friends with a heavy heart . Her memories will forever live on and we know that she will be a beautiful angel watching over us . Heaven definitely gained a good one . Rest in peace until we meet again .

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Arlene's service of Christian burial on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. A visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
