Arlene Marie (Ward) Phillips

September 3, 1935 - August 16, 2021

On Monday, August 16, 2021, Arlene Marie (Ward) Phillips, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 85 in Warminster, Pennsylvania.

Arlene was born on September 3, 1935 in Philadelphia. She graduated from Germantown High School in 1953 and married Robert Phillips on September 11, 1954. Soon after, she worked as an office secretary. Arlene and Robert raised three daughters: Lynda, Cynthia, and Stacie.

Arlene collected two things throughout her life: Apple Whimseys and friends, wherever she could find them. She enjoyed talking to anyone who would listen. If no one was available, she happily settled for talking to herself. In her spare time, Arlene enjoyed reading books on her digital tablet, watching the Hallmark Channel, and playing the piano (her favorite song was "White Christmas"). She loved spending every summer at the Jersey Shore, and her fondest memory was taking her whole family to Disney World in 1997.

Arlene is preceded in death by her mother Evelyn and father George; she was an only child. She is survived by her husband Robert; her three daughters Lynda, Cynthia, and Stacie; her three sons-in-law Barrey , William, and Kevin; and her four grandchildren Lyndy , Cait , Ryan, and Sean.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Arlene's graveside service on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 12:30 PM with Rev. Timothy Judge officiating at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 West County Line Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA. Procession to her gravesite will form at Kirk & Nice Funeral Home (on the grounds of Sunset Memorial Park) at 12:15 PM precisely.
