Benjamin C. Gonzalez of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday December 1, 2024.   Benjamin is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Rafaela (Fontanes).  He will be missed by many.

Benjamin was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on May 1, 1932 to Eliseo and Eulogia (Cruz) Gonzalez.  He worked for many years as a painter after retiring his most joy was found in sharing time with his family.

Family and friends may gather at the Chapel of Peace on the grounds of Sunset Memorial Park on Monday, December 9th, 2024 at 10:30 before we escort Benjamin to his final resting place at Sunset Memorial Park.
