Bernadette Bowman died in her sleep on April 11, 2017 at age 56. She was born in London, England and grew up in the Enfield section. She immigrated to Dallas, Texas in 1979 because she wanted to be a part of the dynamic American business culture. She went to design and fashion school associated with the Dallas Apparel Mart and graduated with a 4.0. She opened Spectrum Design Company in 1981 and quickly developed clients around the country. She met her husband, Bill Bowman, through business in 1983 but did not start dating until 1986. They were married on June 27, 1987. She gave birth to her son Carter Michael on January 15, 1991. She decided to close down her business to be a devoted Mother soon after. She and her family moved to Doylestown in 1999 and fell in love with the town, her neighbors, and the people. She loved and was excellent at art, photography; she has over 2000 followers after a year on Instagram, a self taught Chef of world cuisine, financial management, an avid reader, and a believer that Jesus Christ was her savior. Bernadette was a wonderful wife, a Mother that adored her son, a loving daughter, devoted sister, a mentor to many around the world, and a person that enjoyed people. Many have said that they never saw her without a smile. She is survived by her husband Bill, son Carter, Mother Kitty Gough of Waterford, Ireland, Sister Donna of Grange Mockler, Ireland, and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins in England and Ireland. Her wedding ring said it best, She will be " Loved Forever and a Day" Services are private and in lieu of flowers she always asked to instead call someone and tell them that you love them and kiss your children
