Bernadette G. Laverty, age 91, passed away at Dock Terrace in the Dock Woods Community in Lansdale, on April 7, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Samuel Laverty, loving mother of James Laverty ( Mary ), Wayne Laverty ( Jane ) and Timothy Laverty ( Deborah ).She was the devoted grandmother of Shawn, Patrick, Kyle, Keri, Nicole, Christopher, Brian, Jennifer and Richard, and cherished great grandmother of Ryan and Hannah. A memorial service will be held on April 22, 2017 at 2 pm, in the Chapel of Dock Woods Community, 275 Dock Drive Lansdale, Pa 19446. Immediately following the service, we will gather for a meal in the Community Room of Dock Woods The Laverty family would like to thank all of the nurses and aids of Dock Woods for the excellent care and kindness during Bea's stay in the Care Unit. We would also like to thank Caring Hospice Services for their comfort and support during her last days with us Bea was a generous with her time , and enjoyed the company of her friends and family. There was always something delicious in Bea's kitchen, from pot roast to cherry pie. She welcomed many guests to her home for a meal or a slice of something sweet and delicious. She was a loving wife, a devoted and caring mother and someone who was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. She will truly be missed by all
