Bernard J. Diaz, age 72, husband of Francine (Tyahla) Diaz of Feasterville, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Born on May 9, 1949 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Julius and Teresa (Eckert) Diaz.

He was a graduate of Olney High School, class of 1968.

He was a Technician with Verizon until his retirement.

Bernard was fond of music. He played multiple instruments; drums, keyboard, and enjoyed singing.

In addition to his wife Francine, he is survived by his 3 sons: Bernard J. Diaz, Jr., father of Gabrielle Diaz, Christopher P. Diaz, father of Kenny and Alex Diaz, and Jesse J. Diaz, husband of Megan and their children, Allison, Matthew, and Samantha Diaz.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral mass at Assumption BVM Roman Catholic Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Rd., Feasterville on Friday, Aug 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley.

A viewing will be held on Friday morning from 9:30 AM at the church.
