Bette F. Kuhn, age 89 and a half, of Abington, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Blue Bell Place.

Bette was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Lester and Sallie (Horton) Faust. She graduated from The Philadelphia High school for Girls. Shortly after graduating, Bette met her husband of 44 years, George D. Kuhn Sr., and became a homemaker, raising her four children. She was a member of various Baptist churches, volunteering much of her time at those churches. Mrs. Kuhn was also the president of the Pittsburgh Baptist Association. She and George sang beautiful songs to their Lord.

Bette was an avid reader who loved to work in her garden. She enjoyed traveling with her family. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Wife of the late George D. Kuhn Sr. and Sister of the late Dorothy Rodgers, she is survived by her four children, George D. Kuhn Jr (Janice), Philip Kuhn (Cheryl), Sherree Nurse (Evan), and Jodie Goins (Chuck), nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be reunited with Maggie, her beloved furbaby.

A celebration of life will be held at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel on Friday, February 9, 2024 at noon.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions in Bette's name may be made to the ASPCA ( aspca.org ), Shriner Children's ( shrinerschildrens.org ) and/or The Navigators ( navigators.org ).
