Betty Trautman passed away on September 5, 2018 at the age of 92. Betty was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 8, 1926 to Mae S. (nee Luthy) and Charles H. McKee. Betty graduated from Germantown High School  in 1944. Betty worked for United Engineers in Philadelphia, PA prior to starting a family. Betty was the beloved mother of 2 children, Wayne B. Trautman of Horsham, PA and Barbara (nee Trautman) Blankenhorn of Collegeville,PA. Betty worked for numerous temp agencies doing secretarial jobs in her later years. Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Charles S. McKee and parents Charles H. and Mae S. McKee. Betty was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Willow Grove, as well as the Horsham, PA seniors club called Friends Unlimited and AARP. Betty had a strong passion for reading and spending time with her family. Betty leaves behind her son , Wayne B. Trautman of Horsham, PA, daughter, Barbara (nee Trautman) Blankenhorn of Collegeville,PA , daughter - in - law, Lynn (nee Meehl) Trautman, son - in - law James C. Blankenhorn, granddaughters, Jennifer L. Hunsberger, Christen L. (nee Hunsberger) Rumsey (husband James), Heather Trautman and Nicole Blankenhorn ; grandsons Ryan Trautman (wife Joanna) and Shane Blankenhorn (husband Trevor), as well as a great grandson, Ryder Trautman. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, September 14, 2018, at 10 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053, where Betty's life will be celebrated at 11 am. Entombment to follow at the Chapel of Peace in Sunset Memorial Park.
