Boo Yul Lee, 77, of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 31, 2020. She was born in Daegu, South Korea on February 20, 1943.

She was an active member of her church in Korea, where she met her husband Kwang Soo Lee. After starting their family in Daegu, they ventured across the Pacific to start a new life in Philadelphia with their two sons, Jason (Jae Ho) and Seung Ho Lee. Together with her husband, Boo helped establish independent pharmacies in the greater Philadelphia area.

Boo spent her life caring for her family, including her beloved grandchildren Jared and Sienna Lee. Her greatest joy was making sure her loved ones enjoyed their time together over home-cooked meals. In her free time, she delighted in watching the latest Korean dramas and variety shows.

Her cheerful personality and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Boo is survived by her husband, Kwang Soo Lee; sons Jason (Miho) and Seung Ho (Kaitlyn) Lee; and grandchildren, Jared and Sienna.

Friends and family are invited to join the family on Thursday, January 7, 2021 for a visitation from 10:00-11:00 am at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.  A service will be held at 11:00 am.  A graveside service will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
