Bruce A. Muckley, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Philadelphia on Thursday, February 27, surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 9, 1953 in Camden, NJ to the late James and Adelaide (Downes) Muckley. A longtime resident of Philadelphia, he was a graduate of George Washington High School and Drexel University. Bruce was employed for many years at State Metal Industries in Camden, NJ, before retiring in  2018.

Bruce was a devoted father and extremely proud "Pop-Pop." His grandchildren were a source of joy for him and he loved spending time with them. He was a passionate, lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, and especially looked forward to the Phillies and Eagles seasons each year. He also enjoyed yearly golf trips with his close friends.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Mary (Strehse), his daughter, Lauren Muckley-Campbell (Wayne), his grandchildren, Erik and Chloe and his sister Carol Schramek.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 10am on Friday, March 13 at Kirk & Nice Chapel, 333 W. County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11am.
