C. Paul Herrmann, age 90, beloved husband of 58 years to the late Nancy (de Courcy) of Warrington, passed away on Thursday, January 27,2022.
Born on November 10,1931 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Christel and Hedwig (Reisinger) Herrmann. In 1954, he was drafted into the US Army where he was deployed and stationed in Germany. He worked for most of his life in the elevator industry. Upon discharge from the Army he was employed at Heintz Manufacturing where he became a Tool and Die maker. He also worked at Cemco and Home Lift elevator with his brother Walt and his 4 nephews. He enjoyed working, fishing, and fixing anything that didn't work or needed fixing. He loved animals and taking care of wildlife in his backyard. One of his favorite memories was traveling to Canada for his yearly fishing trip with his son in law and grandson.
He was a hardworking father and is survived by his 2 daughters: Nancy Gieseler and her husband Steve, Kathy Keller and her family.
He had 6 grandchildren and was the loving Opa to Jarrett Gieseler and Jamie Brackett. Great Opa to many. Also survived by his brother Walter Herrmann (Mimi), and his 4 favorite nephews; Walter, Gary, Jeff, and Ken.
He was preceded in death by his older brother Alfred Herrmann. His Services and interment will be privately held.
