Carol J Steel, age 70, passed away after a short hospital stay on January 19, 2025. Carol was the loving daughter of Dorothy (nee Graziani) and James Steel. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she is a graduate of George Washington High School.

Vivacious Carol had many friends in this area and around the world. She loved to travel and was a voracious reader. Carol always made her presence known to everyone she encountered with her unforgettable exuberance and personality. A lover of music, art, crafts, and theatre, she championed many musicians and artists. Carol appreciated good food while traveling and at home, supporting many local restaurants and farmers' markets. The world seems a much quieter place without her.

Carol is survived by her cousins Linda Knipp, Patricia Fusco, and Alfred Morrone and their children.
