Carolyn A. (Atkins) Grimes passed away Wednesday, May 31st, 2017, at St. Mary's Medical Center after a long battle of multiple illnesses. She was 78.
Carolyn was a Levittown resident for 60 years.
She was a manager at CT Corporation Systems in Trenton, N.J. for 23 years. Carolyn loved her trips to Atlantic City and the slots at Parx. She enjoyed weekend card games and spending time with family. Carolyn liked to bake, make homemade ice cream, was an avid seamstress and loved reading. She enjoyed life and will be greatly missed.
Carolyn was the beloved wife of the late William E. Grimes Sr. She is survived by her children Janet Link of Asheville, N.C., Dawn Peton of Feasterville, Cheryl Willis of Levittown, and William E. Grimes Jr. of Levittown; her sisters Barbara Aupperle and Sandy Sheleski. Mrs. Grimes will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
