IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Catherine
Mosher
June 4, 1944 – June 17, 2022
"The world lost an angel. Catherine Mosher passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on June 17th 2022 after a short battle with Pancreatic cancer. She passed at her daughter's house in Gloucester City, NJ surrounded by family members.
She was greeted in heaven by her mom and dad, Nora and Thomas Mannion. She will be there with her brother Gerald Mannion, her sister Nora Melnicki and others.
She has a large family in the United States who will always miss her until they can be with her again. This includes her loving husband of 55 years David Mosher, her children Michael Mosher and his spouse Geraldine, Shannon Hunt(Mosher) and her spouse David, William Mosher and Patrick Mosher. She has several grandchildren who will miss her including; DeeAnna Lodzeischi(Mosher) Steven Hunt, Michael Mosher, Ryan Hunt, Kayla Hunt, Torie Mosher, Adalind Mosher and Julian Mosher. Catherine will also be missed by her great granddaughter Aurora Lodzeischi. In Ireland she also has family who will miss her including her brother Josie Mannion and her sisters Barbara, Brigette and Mary Mannion and all their families.
Catherine was a fiercely strong Irish Catholic woman who prayed devoutly to God for her family and the world. Her answer to any problem was to "Sit down and talk to God". She loved people regardless of who they were, or where they came from. She overcame many difficulties as an Irish immigrant in the sixties and still had strength to raise a family. She always put her family first and constantly called each of her children to check on them and would always say "I'm just giving you a quick shout".
Mom loved music, especially Irish and country music and some of her favorite things included nature. She loved to feed and watch the deer come into the yard or watch the multitude of birds, including cardinals, blue jays, robins and sparrows wash up in the birdbath in front of the house. Mom collected little statues of angels and loved teddy bears of all sorts. Her hobbies revolved around people and her family. She always wanted to help people through tough times by talking with them and encouraging them to pray. She would walk in the neighborhood and always enjoyed speaking with neighbors. Mom loved a good joke, as long as it was not profane. In the mornings and throughout the day mom loved a good cup of tea and maybe a little cup of coffee.
