Catherine Anne Walsh "Sis Banford", age 85, of New Britain, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, March 10th, 2024 in Warrington.

She is survived by her three children, Jack Walsh, Donna (Mark) Rowlands, and Sharon (Marc) Russo, and five grandchildren, Alden Walsh, Benjamin (Melissa) and Jacob Rowlands, and Michael and Nicholas Russo.   She will also be missed by her nieces Paulette (Robert) Delucia and Rachael (Theodore) Ditmar.  Catherine was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Catherine Banford, and her siblings, Joseph, Thomas and William Banford.

Sis was born in Philadelphia and worked for the government her whole career at the Arsenal and the NADC.  After retiring, she worked at Neshaminy Manor until becoming resident in 2021.  She was an avid traveler and enjoyed her trips to Europe to meet her family in Ireland.  Her happy place was Ocean City, New Jersey, eating out with family and researching her family's ancestry.  Sis was known for looking her finest and wouldn't be caught without her compact and lipstick.

Family and Friends are invited to gather at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, on Friday, March 15th at 9:30am, where her funeral service will take place at 10:30am.  Immediately following we will escort Sis to her final resting place at Resurrection Cemetery.
