Obituary of Charles Bofinger

Charles F. Bofinger, noted Bucks County artist, died on Monday, May 27, 2013. He was 88. He graduated from the Milton Hershey School in 1943 and entered the US Navy.

He was an advertising executive but in 1980 made the decision to devote his time to fine art. His paintings may be found in private collections nationally and internationally and in many galleries.

Mr. Bofinger is survived by his dear wife, Marie E. Bofinger of 68 years. He was the loving father of Karen Wilson and her husband Bob of Newtown, PA and Charlene Bofinger and her husband, Don, of Oakton, VA. He is the brother of Kenneth Bofinger and his wife, Sue. He was predeceased by his brother William and his wife, the late Elsie Bofinger. He is the beloved Uncle of Darlene Dunfee, Janise Pugliese, Mark Bofinger, Christopher Bofinger and Jennifer Tucker as well as "grandchildren" Bill, Brenda, Brian, Phillip and Matthew.
