Charles Daka, 90, of Bensalem, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 11th, 2024.  Charles was born in Philadelphia on July 23, 1933, a son of the late Kristo and Varvara (Bellani) Daka.

Charles proudly served his country in the US Navy. Upon his return he started his long career as a machinist.

Charles is survived by three sons, Michael, Paul (Beth), George, and one special daughter, Maria O'Malley; six grandchildren, Michael, Kristofer, Cody, Becca, Kerri, Sean; one great grandchild, Avery; and one sister Mary Daka.  He will be missed by his friends and several nieces and nephews.  Charles is predeceased by his devoted wife Patricia (Johnson) Daka; two sons, William and John; his brothers, Spiro and John; and four sisters, Ann Stephano, Lydia Avrami, Rita Wright and Helen Pugnetti.

Friends and family are invited to gather Friday January 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA  19006.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. prior to escorting Charles to his final resting place with full military honors.
