CHARLES C. FRENCH

October 13, 1928 - November 13, 2018

Charles C. French, 90, of Ocean City, New Jersey passed away on November 13, 2018.  Charles was one of two children born to the late Charles C. and Leola French.  Charles retired from the Philadelphia Gas Works as the Treasurer.  After retirement, he enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach with his family.  He also had a passion for the Oriental game of "GO", which he acquired the status of a 2 kyu level player after many years of study.  He is survived by his wife, Adeline (nee DiPietro) and Stepson, Patrick Kane (Mackenzie)  his 3 children Katherine Sekula (Mark), Elizabeth Wolk (Steve), Randal French (Janice) and 6 Grandchildren,  Jeffery and Matthew Shoemaker, Stephen Sekula, Finnegan, Abigail, Norah Kane.  He is predeceased by his first wife Janet (Horty).  Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 10 to 11 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am both at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 19053 .  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that donations be made in Charles' memory to the Seasons Hospice 2200 Renaissance Blvd. King of Prussia, PA 19406
