Obituary of Charles Germeroth

Charles "Charlie" Germeroth, 61, of Warminster, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, after a courageous battle with heart disease. He was the devoted husband of his high school sweetheart Karen (Meckert) with whom he shared 45 wonderful years.

Born in Philadelphia, Charlie was the son of the late Albert and Grace (Fink) Germeroth.

Charlie was raised in Huntingdon Valley, and was a 1971 graduate of Lower Moreland High School and Eastern Montgomery County Vocational Technical School. Charlie worked in various positions as a printer at Old York Road Publishing and was an avid golfer who always carried a low handicap. He enjoyed spending time with family, catching up on the latest golf tournaments and taking his beloved dog, Rigby, to the park. There was never a moment where laughter was not present when Charlie was in a room. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, Karen, Charlie leaves his cherished daughters, Lisa (John) Freeman and Jenna, all of Warminster. He is also survived by a brother, Albert (Kay) Germeroth of Dublin and a sister, Marie (Mark) Petrillo of Chalfont. Charlie was the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews as well.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Visitation on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 6PM to 8 PM and on Monday, September 14th, from 10 AM to 11 AM at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart Institute at Doylestown Hospital, 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 or to the Gift of Life Program, 401 North 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be appreciated.
