Obituary of Charles Hobensack

Charles T. Hobensack, a Willow Grove resident, passed away July 3, 2011. Charlie's final wish was granted, as he passed away in the home he was born in. A true patriot, he served in the US Army during WWII as a Sgt. in Company B, 22nd Tank Battalion, 11th Armored Division and was extremely active in Willow Grove VFW Post 3612. The beloved husband of Therese A. (nee O'Brien), he is also survived by his children; Nancy Pearsall (Pat), Thomas Hobensack (Patti), James Hobensack (Cheryl) and Jean Smith (Robert). In addition, he is survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grancdhildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday July 8 from 10am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, where funeral services will begin at 11am. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Willow Grove VFW Post 3612, 305 Moreland Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
