Charles (Chuck) McNeill, age 76, of Doylestown Pennsylvania, entered eternal rest peacefully on Sunday May 5th, 2024 in hospice care at Arden Courts memory care facility Warminster Pennsylvania.  Chuck is survived by his high school sweetheart, Diane McNeill (Kochersperger), who were married in September 1969.  He is also survived by his son, Christopher (Alisa), and three grandchildren.  He will also be missed by his two sisters, Anne and Jeannette, and many nieces, nephews, friends and "brothers".

Chuck is predeceased by his parents, Charles W. McNeill and Anne (Pieper) McNeill, his sister Kathy, and his "brother" Paul.

Chuck graduated from William Tennent High School, in Warminster, Pennsylvania, in 1966.  He joined the Navy Reserves VP-66 unit at Willow Grove Air Base, Horsham, Pennsylvania as an inflight tech and later enlisted in the Air Force 327th Air Squadron as a Loadmaster on C-130 cargo planes.  He was part of Operation Enduring Freedom, in Iraq in 2003, before retiring in 2005 as Master Sergeant.  Concurrently, Chuck was an union electrician with Local 98 IBEW, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before retiring in 2010.

Chuck and Diane designed and built a dream house in scenic Buckingham (with lots of help from family and friends), took many vacations together which included following Jimmy Johnson #48 NASCAR 7XChampion to area race tracks.  His other hobbies included camping with his buddies in northern Pennsylvania, shooting pool to wee hours in the basement, inventing new ways to save energy, working on his '56 Ford truck in the garage and drinking beer with Bucky.

Services will be private, however, please feel free to make a donation in Chuck's name to the American Legion Post #308, 2305 Computer Avenue, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
