Obituary of Charles Steele

Charles Roberts Steele III, age 63 , of Newtown, passed away on January 4, 2014 with his family by his side, after his battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie ( Jean ) ( nee Bryant ), and also is survived by 3 children: Charles R. Steele, IV ( Megan ) of Southampton, Pa; Lauren McNally ( James ) of Newtown, Pa. and Megan Steele of Newtown, Pa. Charles is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Emileigh, Ryan, Sara and his dog, Taylor, his brother David Steele ( Leila ) and his mother, Dorothy Steele. Charles was born on October 8, 1950 to the late Charles R. Steele II and Dorothy Steele in Philadelphia, Pa. He graduated from George Washington High School and later went on to Pierce Junior College. He married Marjorie ( Jean ) Bryant on August 4, 1979, and resided in Newtown, Pa. Charles was a car salesman for most of his life until going into business with his son, Chuck, at Bonehead Performance, Inc. Cars were his passion in life. He also enjoyed his summers with his family in Ocean City , NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 10 to 11:30 am, at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, Pa 19053, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers ,his family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society,1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, Pa. 19103.
