Christopher J. Duca passed away at his residence in Philadelphia on Thursday, November 18, 2021. He was 53 years old. Born on August 13, 1968 in Philadelphia, Christopher was a child of Frank Duca and the late Albertina (Viola) Duca.

Christopher worked as a printer for many years, including his favorite place of employment with the Philadelphia Inquirer. When not working, he loved spending time playing with his pets, although he stopped riding, he was a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved talking about and fixing
cars. He enjoyed the company of family and friends. Most of all, he was devoted to his family, giving his heart to everyone he loved. He was so caring and giving always thinking about how he could help others.

He is survived by his wife of over thirty years, Julieann (DeMichele) Duca; his father Frank Duca; His companion Gloria Reed, Sister Diane (Duca) Hafer, Brother in law Gregg Hafer, Brother Frank Duca, Sister in Law Marge (McCloskey) Duca, Niece Angelique Duca, Nephews Gregory Hafer, Wife Lauren (Kessler) Hafer, Great Nephew Cole Hafer, Great Niece Callie Hafer, Nephew Anthony Hafer, Nephew Frankie Duca, Mother in Law Julieann (Lombardo) DeMichele, Father In Law Frank DeMichele, Brother in law Blasé DeMichele, Sister in Law Heather (Magner) DeMichele, Nieces Danielle DeMichele, Gia DeMichele, Sister in Law Gina DeMichele, Neice Gianna Austin, Nephew Nicholas Austin, Uncle Joseph Viola, Aunt Mimi Viola, Aunt Nina (Viola) Zuppa Uncle Michael Zuppa, Uncle Vincent Duca, many Cousins and many other family and friends. Christopher is preceded in death by His mother Albertina (Viola) Duca and grandparents, Aunt Lois Duca.

Friends and family are invited to Christopher's funeral service at St. Christopher's Parish, 13301 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19116 on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11 AM. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to his family at the parish from 10-11 AM on the same date.  Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.

The family has requested that all guests wear a facemask or face covering throughout the viewing and service. Mrs. Duca would like to thank those who wish to attend, but would respectfully request that guests remain at a distance from her due to a medical condition.
