Craig Drob of Northeast Philadelphia, age 61. Loving father of Tyler Drob. Dear brother of Bruce Drob and his wife Anne. Devoted son of the late Elaine Capriotti, Ralph Capriotti, and Jay Drob. Beloved grandson of Samuel Rosenthal and Ruth Rosenthal. Best friend of Art Criden. Step-brother Todd Capriotti and his wife Lori. Uncle of Mike Drob, Amy Drob, Sam Drob, Josh Capriotti, Rachel Capriotti, Seth Capriotti, and Lily Capriotti. He was a dear friend Susan Drob and she was a special piece of his life.
Craig was a graduate of George Washington High School (Class of '78), and then graduated from Temple University. Craig earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Temple. Craig was a talented graphic designer who created the Philadelphia Phillies 1983 logo. This was the 100-year anniversary for the franchise. He enjoyed baseball, listening to sports radio, and watching his son's football games at Cherry Hill East High School and West Chester University.
Craig also enjoyed photography and had a passion for documenting sporting, concert, family, nature and historical events, he was always prepared for the right shot with the right camera. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, and enjoyed going to Veterans Stadium & Citizens Bank Park to see his beloved Phillies play ball.
Craig was a huge hobbyist, he collected memorabilia on different subjects including: Phillies baseball, 1939 World's Fair, Stamps, and famous painters.
All friends and family can attend the gravesite service at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Rd., Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 18th.
