Daniel J. Richards, aka Danny Boy, aka Dan the Screw Man, passed suddenly in his Feasterville home on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024.

Dan is survived by his two sons, Scott (Kathleen) and Adam, and his grandchildren, Amelia and Gwendolyn.

Dan was born and raised in Swampoodle, just a swing and a line drive from Shibe Park,  beloved son of John and Jennie Richards. Dan was one of six siblings and is survived by two brothers, his sister, and their spouses.

Most importantly, he is finally reunited with the love of his life, Rosemary.

Dan spent years building his own business, working together with family members and friends and supplying anything and everything for construction projects throughout the Philadelphia area. He would proudly point out buildings that were built with his supplies, including some of the tallest towers in Center City.

An avid sports fan, Dan never missed a game if he could help it, whether it was the Phillies or the Sixers or one of his own son's games. He goes to rest still believing that the Phillies should bunt more.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley PA  19006 on Tuesday, August 27th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.  His funeral service will take place at 11:00 am before we escort Daniel to his final resting place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
