David John Alkins Jr, age 66 of Palmyra, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Born in Abington, PA, Dave was a lifelong resident of Feasterville, PA. He graduated from Neshaminy High School and had a successful career in the printing industry. Above all else, Dave was most proud of his role as a father and caretaker of his loved ones.  Dave was a grateful cancer survivor, being in survivorship for four years.

Dave was an avid Eagles fan, fantastic fishermen, and loved horticulture. He was a proud poet, and his family is still finding his works today.

Dave had an incredible sense of humor. He never showed up empty handed, always bringing his loved one's gifts. He was well known in his community to volunteer his time to helping his fellow neighbor.

Son of the late David J. and Doris M. Alkins; Brother of the late Douglass Alkins; Father of the late Michael Balliet. Dave is survived by his loving children, Davey and Jessie Alkins and Amber Alkins; beloved grandchildren, Aiden, Kodi, Mackenzie, Margo, Claire, Kashlyn, Keegan and William; and his partner in crime, Big Sister, Debbie (Alkins) Smith; cherished niece; Shirley; nephews, Brett (Bri), Scottie (Jenn). As well as several cousins, loving community in Palmyra and Feasterville lifelong friends to share fond memories.

A memorial service for Dave will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
