Diane Marie Rogers, 72, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday December 10, 2019 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells inlet, South Carolina.  She was born on February 24, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late John Joseph Niebauer & Veronica Agnes (Rydzewski) Niebauer.

Diane had a vibrant personality and an eye for beauty. She was a graduate of Nazareth Academy in Philadelphia class of 1964.  She was truly devoted to her husband and daughters, making their life a happy one living over 40 years in Hatfield, PA.   She had a successful career in medical sales, while being active in the children's schooling and providing a loving and caring home for the family. Upon her well-deserved retirement, Diane and her husband relocated to sunny Murrells Inlet to enjoy the warm weather and seafood. In her free time, Diane could be found reading or tending to her garden.

Diane lived several of her early married years in Hawaii, which was the beginning of her joy in travel vacations.  She traveled throughout Europe to include England, Ireland, France, and a river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest. She visited many Caribbean islands to include Puerto Rico and Cuba.  She visited Central America, Mexico, and Canada.  But her most enjoyed trip, which was a lifelong dream, was to Africa where she spent days on end on safari observing animals in the wild.

Left to cherish Diane's memory are her beloved husband, with whom she would have celebrated 52 years of marriage in January of 2020, Mr. James Wilfred Rogers of Murrells Inlet, SC; their children, Kelly Anne Toepel and her husband, Josh of Schwenksville, PA, Alicia Beth Jancola and her husband, Mike of Seattle, WA, and Jody Marie Forbes and her husband, William "Bill", of Souderton, PA; her adoring grandchildren, Olivia, Nora, Levi, Ella & Elizabeth; sister, Jacqueline Blank; brother, Jack Niebauer; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Diane's life will be held on Saturday January 18th, 2020 at 11:00AM at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. The family will gather to greet friends from 10:00AM until the time of service.
