Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane L. Pesut on 3 December 2024. Diane lived a life full of love, joy, and compassion.

At dawn, with the rising sun painting the river outside her beloved room, Diane gently concluded her earthly journey and is now at peace.

Diane was the beloved wife of Steven. They married on December 13, 2014, a date she adored for its unique sequence of 12-13-14. Diane cherished every moment spent with Steven. She was the devoted mother to her son, Zachary, who was the light of her life. Diane was also a loving sister to Donna Gruhler, who shared countless memories and adventures with her.

Diane had a loving spirit and saw the beauty in the simplest ways, cherishing every moment life offered. She loved to travel and was always seeking adventure, embracing new experiences with enthusiasm and joy. Her heart was always open to her pet furry friends, Kai and Kona, who brought her immeasurable joy and companionship. She had an unwavering love for animals, reflecting her kind and gentle spirit.

Predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Nancy Gruhler, her brothers David and Jimmy, and sister Nancy. Diane's legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Diane's life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of cherishing every moment. She touched the lives of many and will always be remembered for her beautiful soul and the light she brought into the world.

Testament of Love from Donna

Love is: Simple, kind gestures. Unwavering compassion. The ability to consider another's perspective. Patience to let the dust settle. Holding a safe space to just be. Being completely present to truly listen. Reaching out a hand when one falls. Cherishing the wonders of the world. Being captivated by the beauty of nature. Being in love with life. Fiercely honoring the bonds of family. Holding loyal devotion to friends. Shining so brightly that sunglasses are required by those around.

By these examples, Diane, my kid sister and best friend, presented herself to the world and lived by them. We are all greater for it. Thank you, Diane.

Additionally, we will hold the funeral on June 20th at 10:30 AM at Sunset Memorial. Following the service, there will be a celebration of life at Brookside Manor, located at 50 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville Trevose, PA 19053.
