Dolores, Dolly or Doll, DiSalvo was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 2,1933 and raised in the Wissinoming and Hunting Park section of Philadelphia. Where she attended Cook Jr. High, and Gratz High School. She went on to marry Anthony DiSalvo and have 3 beautiful children, John, Gina and Anthony, who became the center of her life. All 3 children were students at Melrose Academy, where she was an active member of the Melrose Academy Women's Board. Dolores and Anthony, raised their children on Herbert Street in Frankford, were members of Mater Dolorosa Church and actively were present in their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren's lives. She was a known resident in Margate and Longport area of New Jersey for 40 years, where she was a real estate agent, neighbor and everyone's beach buddy. She lived there for 40 years and ever since she left to live with both her son Anthony and daughter Gina, she couldn't wait to return to the beach indefinitely one day. Dolly never missed a beat. Whether it was the shore house filled with family and friends, winters in Florida, or coming up from the shore to watch her grandkids dance recitals, grandparents day, class trips and more. Until her very last day, she was active in all of her family and friends' lives. She didn't need company, but she made sure the company she kept was the one's that were there until her very last breath.
