Obituary of Dolores McHugh

The McHugh Family is sad to announce the loss of their matriarch, Dolores McHugh, on June 12, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond F McHugh, in September 2001.

Born in Philadelphia on August 17, 1931, Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She was very active in her community, including being a home room mother, Red Cross volunteer, and a Brownie/Girl Scout leader. Dolores was an avid beach lover and a long time member of Torresdale-Frankford County Club, where she enjoyed playing golf. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Dolores is survived by her four children: Raymond (Karen), Virginia (Patrick Smith), Daniel (Maureen) and Laurie (John Benson), her adored grandchildren: Matthew (Lauren), Shawn, Daniel Owen, Colleen, Patrick Smith, Jr., and Leanne Smith and her brother William Maguire and nephew Mack.

All are welcome to pay their respects at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 19053 on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 9:30 to 11:00 am. A service will be held at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
