Dolores Vivian Olivia Shannon (nee Jungclaus) passed away on 13 July 2020 to be with Jesus. She was preceded in death by her husband George after 44 years of joyful marriage, parents Herman and Dorothy (nee Oehlert) Jungclaus, brothers Leonard and Norman Jungclaus, sister Lorraine Ulrich, and daughter-in-law Monica. She is survived by her son Master Sergeant Daniel Shannon, USAR, and his wife Karen; her son Colonel Donald Shannon, USAF (Retired), and his wife Elizabeth; her grandchildren – Sydney, Kay, Riley and Lily Shannon, and Michael and Erica Colombo; her great-grandson Rylan Colombo; her many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law; her numerous nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews whom she dearly adored; and, many life-long friends and neighbors. Dolores was a devout member of Grace Lutheran Church for nearly 50 years and will miss the fellowship of her church family. Viewing will be held at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, on 20 July 2020, beginning at 10 AM. Funeral services begin at 12 PM with interment to immediately follow at the collocated Sunset Memorial Park.
