Obituary of Donald Brusca
Donald Joseph Brusca, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, step-father and business owner, passed away suddenly on Sunday December 27, 2015 at his home in Collegeville, PA. He was 62 years old.
Don was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 21, 1953 to parents Henry and Isobel (McCloskey) Brusca. He was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote. Don later established Brusca Landscape Supply in West Norriton, PA and became a successful family business owner. Don enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, landscaping, cars (Corvettes especially), boating and humdingers. But most of all he loved spending time at his business interacting with his customers, vendors and employees. He had planned to be behind the counter until at least age 80.
Don leaves loving memories to be cherished by his wife of 26 years: Jane (Fisher) Brusca; his sons: Ryan Brusca and his wife SheyLea, Benjamin Brusca and his wife Jennifer, Dennis Brusca and his wife Carey. Stepchildren: Brian Gilbert and his wife Ruth and Terri Thompson and her husband Scott. His grandchildren: Grace, Lauren, Jake, Eliana, Flora, Ryler, Aidan, Cole Allison, Miles and another on the way. He was the brother of Henry Brusca and his late wife Maureen, Richard Brusca and his wife Monica, Margaret Mooney and her husband Thomas, Patricia Dillon and her husband Joseph, William Brusca and Mary Romanzo and her husband George.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Don's Viewing on Wednesday December 30, 2015 from 9 AM and to his Funeral Service at 12 Noon at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053 (215) 354-0085. Interment Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.
