Donald Russell DeBolt Jr., 85, of Fallsington, died peacefully Friday, November 19, 2021.  He was the loving husband of Charlotte Marion DeBolt, to whom he was married for 58 years.

Born in Connellsville, Pa. on November 1, 1936, Donald was the son of the late Donald DeBolt Sr. and the late Mildred (Dillinger) DeBolt. He was a 1955 graduate of Pennsbury High School. After serving in the Army as a helicopter mechanic, he became a skilled tradesman of tool and die and retired from General Motors Fisher Guide Division after 35 years of service.

Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In retirement, he mastered woodworking and created many pieces of furniture and high quality wood crafts for his family, friends, and church. Together Donald and Charlotte took great pride in sharing the home they built themselves. Above all, he loved his wife, his four sons, and all of his grandchildren. He was a parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Levittown.

Donald leaves behind 4 children: Donald (Kathleen) DeBolt III, Richard (Amy) DeBolt, Mark (Kelly) DeBolt and Arend (Caryn) DeBolt. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren: Gabrielle, Angela, and Sophia; Lorelei and Grace; Taylor, Madison, and Joley; and Amber, Brandon, Breanna and Katelyn. Don was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte, and his brother and sisters: Richard Bitner, Betty Stanish, Jeanine Eifert, and Linda Eidsmoe.

Visitation will take place Thursday, December 2, from 6 to 8 PM, at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Friday, December 3, preceded by a visitation at 10 AM, at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 1314 Randall Ave, Levittown, PA 19057. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
