Donald Prince Jr., of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the age of 83.

Donald was born in Philadelphia at Methodist Hospital to Donald Prince Sr. and Lilyan Prince (née Johnson).

Don served in the Navy in his youth, where he met his wife, Wai King "Cindy" Chung. He enjoyed dogs of all kinds, wartime history, good spicy food, and reading his favorite books, including Dune and The Lord of the Rings. He was also an avid reader of Scientific American and loved strategy games such as Go and chess.

Don is the husband of Cindy, father to Jennifer Prince; Samantha Bermudez (née Prince) and her husband, Art Bermudez; and Crystal Prince and her husband, Russell Ramm. He is the grandfather of Milo, Eli, and Ava Bermudez, and Daniel and Laila Ramm.

A private family service will be held, and he will be cremated with his ashes scattered at sea, in accordance with his wishes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to an animal in need through Philadelphia's animal adoption center, ACCT Philadelphia .
