Donald W. Tracy left this life on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. He was 89 years of age. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he will be remembered for his smile, generous spirit and sense of humor. Born in Philadelphia on October 13, 1929, he served in the Navy during the Korean War, then worked for Bell Telephone Company, where he met his wife of 61 years, the late Doris R. Tracy. He lived most of his life in Southampton, PA, and in his final years, resided at Wesley Enhanced Living in Upper Moreland, PA. Donald was the caring father to four children: Timothy Douglas Tracy (deceased 1999), Thomas Tracy, Nancy Crane, and Jennifer Giuliano. Donald is also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and, nephew Joseph Matchner.
Donald was a long-time member of the Huntingdon Valley United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.
His wonderful joy and life will be celebrated at a memorial service on October 26, 2018 at Kirk& Nice, 333 County Line Rd, Feasterville, PA 19053. Visitation is at 10:00 am, service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Huntingdon Valley United Methodist Church Memorial Fund: 3470 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
