Obituary of Doris McVey

Doris Mae McVey (nee Pagden), passed away on September 5, 2009 at age 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry B. McVey, and was the loving mother of Harry W. McVey (Terry) and Ginny McNally (Joe). Doris was the loving grandmother of Sharon Werner (Mike), Shawn McNally, Brian McVey (and fiance, Lily), and Scott McVey, and devoted great grandmother of Hagan and Kiera Werner, and sister of Lorraine Fissell. Doris was a member of the Pennswood Club of Philadelphia, former member of the Firelady Club of Huntingdon Valley, member of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church for 55 years. Doris also loved to travel and work in her garden. Relatives and Friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 10, 2009, after 10 AM at the Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church, 2410 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, PA. Her life celebration service will begin at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Baba Cynwyd, PA 19004 in her memory would be appreciated.
