Doris M. Spohrer, 98 years, 11 months, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 4th, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Doris was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, born on December 17th 1924 to James and Margaret Harrison.   She went to high school at Saint Hubert's high School and graduated in 1942, their first graduating year.

Doris was a homemaker and enjoyed music, dancing and entertaining.  Her home was always full of music.  Doris enjoyed summers at her beach home in Sea Isle City with her family.  She loved current events and in later years QVC.  Above all, taking care of her family brought Doris the most joy.

Doris is survived by her daughter Suzanne (Michael) DiNoia, and Linda (Michael) Gallagher, her five grandchildren, Lisa (Joe) Welsch, Tricia (Chris) DiNoia-Chamberlin, Suzanne (Sean) Donahue, Curt (Danielle) Gallagher, and Justin (Kelly) Gallagher.  Fifteen great-grandchildren, Katrina (Rob) Carroll-Haskins, Joey Welsch, Erik (Stacy Hinkle) Welsch, Austyn (Laurie) Waters, Matt (Lily Humphreys) Spenillo, Danny Spenillo, Aiden Chamberlin, Addyson Gallagher, Caitlin Gallagher, Ryan Gallagher, Kayla Donahue, Morgan Chamberlin, Connor Gallagher, Curran Gallagher, and Delaney Gallagher.  Three great-great-grandchildren, Autumn Welsch, Shealyn Waters, and Brandon Welsch.  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Spohrer, son George, and and two great grandchildren, Ryan Spenillo, and Jenny Chamberlin.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA  19006. A Memorial Service for Doris will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 1:00 in the Main Chapel.
