Dorothy C. Bassing (nee Hackert) of Erial, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia passed away peacefully on June 4, 2019. She was 83. Longtime lace mender at Quaker Lace Co. in Philadelphia.

She was the beloved wife of the late August Belmont Bassing III.  She is survived by her children; Mary DeLuca (Frank) and Gordon W. Bassing, her grandchildren; Thomas Bassing, Danielle Rabenberg (Joe), Dana Brennan (Pete), Angela Jamison (Mike), Frank DeLuca, and her three great grandchildren, Mary, Michael and Nolan.  She is also survived by her sister Mary Lipsy and her brother Charles Hackert.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 11 from 10:00 at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, where funeral services will be held at 11am.  Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
