Dorothy Helen Bossert, RN (nee Morton), passed away peacefully on November 17, 2014 at the age of 97. She was a lifelong resident of Northeast Philadelphia, and lately of Bensalem.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Carl W. Bossert and loving mother of Carol Stratton (David), Emily McElree (Samuel) and Susan Gummel (Robert); devoted nanny of David, Jeffrey, Dianne, Jennifer, Jill, Lauren, Matthew and Amy and loving Nanna of 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her late husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian McElree and two brothers, Donald and William Morton.

Dorothy was a registered nurse and worked at Frankford Hospital for 25 years. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10 AM at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 19053 (215) 354-0085) where Dorothy's celebration of Life will begin at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA. 19103
