Obituary of Dorothy Gotwald

Dorothy A. Gotwald, beloved mother and wife, departed for a better life, August 20, 2009 succumbing to cancer after a long struggle. She was 84 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harold Gotwald. She is survived by her two sons, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a sister Helen Logan (Hugh). Dorothy grew up in the Kensington area of Philadelphia, where she met her husband and lived 56 years on Rising Sun Avenue in Parkland where she and Harold raised their children. Dorothy worked for nearly 30 years for the Neshaminy School District in Langhorne, serving lunch meals to generations of students who passed through the doors of the High School. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday August 27, 2009 after 10am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA where a memorial service will be held at llam. Comittal will be in Forest hills Cemetery.
